A culinary residency curated exclusively for the 2024 Olympic Games, inspired by James Baldwin’s acclaimed collection of essays, Notes of a Native Son (1955).
"Survival Skool" A virtual cooking demo telling the story of prejudice turned solidarity between two of Houston’s most historically impoverished racial groups, as told through Caribbean flavors that reflect the same demographic.
Developed content to introduce the new Our Place "Always Pan Pro."
Developed and taught a new history curriculum centered around my core food philosophy, this residency explores the raw, animalistic instincts of humans in desperate need of survival.
